![]() My preference probably would have been for pulling back on the romance/sex and giving the characters more time to develop instead, but I'm pretty much a broken record at this point, so it's safe to say that that doesn't have all that much to do with Without Borders itself. This is New Adult, I guess, which is to say that the characters are a bit older than typical YA characters (Annie's nearing the end of college) and sex is more overtly up for discussion. The latter in particular is a pleasant surprise: he's set up to be a jerk, and at times he is something of a cliché, but generally speaking they both manage to step up. ![]() But.she grins and bears it, and so does the former reality TV star (slash dental student) she's travelling with.
